Affiliate Disclosure
Some pages on this site may eventually include affiliate links. That means the site may earn a commission if a reader buys through certain governed links, at no extra cost to the reader.
The important part is the rule set:
- usefulness comes before commission
- small-space fit, water-source constraints, repairability, and maintenance matter more than features
- product links should only be added through the governed link registry
- direct merchant destinations can be researched before affiliate approval, but monetized links should wait for owner-approved account setup
- if a recommendation stops being the best fit, the page should say so plainly even if the commission is worse
Current implementation note:
- this pilot site can be published safely without affiliate links
- monetized outbound links should wait until owner affiliate accounts, tax details, and payout settings are approved
